Brian Wiens, Ph.D.

Acelyrin

Brian is Vice President, Biostatistics and Data Sciences, at ACELYRIN, Inc., supporting clinical development activities for all phases of clinical research. Prior to joining ACELYRIN in 2021, Brian held positions of increasing responsibility with various companies including Merck, Amgen, Gilead, Alcon and Horizon.

Brian has been active in the American Statistical Association Biopharmaceutical Section, serving as section chair in 2007. Since 2011, he has chaired an annual pre-conference workshop at the Joint Statistics Meetings on Improving Statistical Presentations.

Brian holds a Ph.D. in statistics from Temple University and a M.S. in statistics from Colorado State University. He is a fellow of the American Statistical Association.
