Rivus Pharmaceuticals

Brian is Vice President, Biostatistics, at Rivus Pharmaceuticals, supporting clinical development activities for all phases of clinical research. Prior to joining Rivus in 2025, Brian held positions of increasing responsibility with various companies including Merck, Amgen, Gilead, Alcon and Horizon.

Brian has been active in the American Statistical Association Biopharmaceutical Section, serving as section chair in 2007. From 2011 to 2019, he chaired an annual pre-conference workshop at the Joint Statistics Meetings on Improving Statistical Presentations.

Brian holds a Ph.D. in statistics from Temple University and a M.S. in statistics from Colorado State University. He is a fellow of the American Statistical Association.
